    People say you shouldn't look for love, it will find you. I sometimes don't believe things people tell me, but i think this one's true. 
   Yea so what, i was on dating sites and yes, I even messaged people instead of waiting for them to message me. I thought that maybe men liked a woman who jumps in first. Obviously, thats's a crock of shit! I've had guys message me that aren't even my type or they just want a one nightstand. I then late altered my profile and said, "To all the messed up users and abusers of this site, I'M NOT A WHORE AND NEVER WILL BE!!! So if you want a one nightstand its not me." 
     That little monologue made men pretty much hate me. I know it's cruel, but I just don't want that kind of drama. Been there done that. I waited patiently for that one man to come in to the picture and he did. it took me 40-50 dates later to find him, but it was worth it. As they say, if a man is interested in you and wants to see you he will make it happen. 
     In my case it worked. I met Matt on "OkCupid.com" The date was August 15,2010. I don't really remember the message he sent me that well. The gist of it was that he thought I was interesting and he would like to talk to me and get to know me more. So I sent him my Yahoo Screen name and we talked on there. I was so intrigued by him, I had to meet him the next day. He seemed hesitant but, I talked him into it. 
     In all reality I think he could really be the one. We get along great, have fun, talk without being on eggshells and we just are great together. Hes polite and my dad likes him. Even if we have a cheap date like just sitting at the park and talking, or burger king and talking and a short drive. I'm quite content with that. Its not about material things its about the person that you love. 
    Anyway, we went out to celebrate our 1st month anniversary and that he was coming home from college and I

finally got a job but its temp. So we had a lot to celebrate apparently. We went to a Hiabachi Bonsai Grill  in Hamilton NJ So awesome!! I didn't even flinch when the chef put the spachula in my face which was literally and inch or closer from my face. People were like damn, she didn't even blink. Then we saw devil which kinda blew. If you are planning on going to see it then please do. Dont let my bad review ruin it for you!! After the movie, we went to his house and sat on the porch and just star gazed and talked about movies, and life pretty much. We are a great couple and I hope we don't grow apart just grow stronger and together.  It's 2 am I need to go to sleep. Going to Bristol PA tomorrow to buy daddy Newport 100's in a box.... AWESOME!! Then lunch with Matt and his friend Tom. I can't wait to meet Tom. I hope he likes me... Oh well, So here we go.... good night and sweet dreams remember don't go into elevators with people you don't know. If you don't understand that nice snip-it go see  DEVIL!!!! Music has saved my life in more ways than one.

      At an early age I knew that music was my destiny. I started out singing to my moms tapes in her car at the age of 2 or 3. My mom thought it was so cute, and yes back then we had tape players in cars. I know everyone has cd players and ipod adapters today. Anyway back to what I was saying.        My mom was a very musical person, but singing wasn't her thing. I grew up listening to my moms music which consisted of Natalie Cole, Celine Dion, The Bee gees, Elton John, FleetWood Mac, Bob Segar, and  much more but too many to name.  I sang at church, school and of course at home. My mom didn't think that I would want a career in singing, so she paid no attention to it.  When I was 8 years old I decided I wanted to sing for the choir at my church and I did. 2nd date with Matt....

      So our timing was a little off.. He was stuck at the eye doctors for a few hours more than we planned and I just seriously didn't want to get out of bed.  We were supposed to be at my friend's house at 1:30 and that so didn't happen I got there by 3 and my Matty arrived  around 4.  I had fun hanging out with Lisa, and her boyfriend Jeremy. They are the best people I know. I hope Matt had a good time, I don't really think he had that much fun.  But I'll see later. We had an awesome dinner turkey breast, mashed potatoes with spinach, and green beans. It was really good. I supplied the desert for the night. angel food cake with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream..
